Teaching Diversity

Semester Two has come upon us, bringing coffee queues and classic Melbourne in winter bleak weather.

This semester I’m coordinating the first year introductory subject, Anthropology: Studying Human Diversity. I get to work with six amazing tutors, and 303 (to be precise) anthropologists-in-the-making. We’ll be wandering through all sorts of places and getting to grips with many a concept.

Here’s a little snippet of me discussing one tricky concept: ethnocentrism. With a little help from Catherine Tate’s disgusted Northern couple.
